Green cheese?!
It is labeled Gouda with pesto, 30% fat, 15.99 shekels per kilogram.
We shopped at the big and beautiful Eden Teva Market in Beer Sheva for the first time.
The daughter happily stocked up on sheep and goat cheeses.

I've never seen anything like this. How does it taste?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure at some time I've tried pesto, but I can't recall the taste. I do love gouda cheese though, particularly the spiced version.
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely try it.
ReplyDeleteFor those of us who don't eat meat, protein has to come from something else. Cheese is one of the obvious sources, the more delicious and varied, the better.
ReplyDeleteMMMMMMMmmmmmmm... My mouth is watering now, Dina! :-)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I've seen what Joana Vasconcelos did at the TAMA. I posted on her again yesterday. :-)
I'll keep my Grana and Parmigiano...
ReplyDeleteI'd like to taste the green cheese.
ReplyDeleteI'm another vegetarian who eats a lot of cheese but I've never tried goat or sheep cheese or pesto cheese either. It all looks really good :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm... green cheese? I don't know if I'm brave enough to try that. Then again, I really should.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am sure I will not try:=)
ReplyDeleteI saw similar green cheese with pesto at the market last week. Looks like it's becoming a world-wide thing. I'm back to blogging, I'm delighted to visit your blog again.
