Clouds over Meitar
After last week's too-early dust storms and unseasonably hot temperatures (over 30 C),
and after a winter of drought, we finally got a cool day of gentle, refreshing rain on Sunday!
Let's hope and pray for more.

Pictures of life in Jerusalem and the Jerusalem Hills. And since August 2013 also a look at the northern Negev, my new home.
Hooray! I know the feeling, and those clouds are simply gorgeous, as well as full of rain. May more fall soon, upon both our locales, so far apart but with such similar climates.
ReplyDeleteHi Sara, we didn't get 3 straight days of rain like you did in California, but more is on the way.
ReplyDeleteThis Friday kids wear their Purim costumes to school, and it always seems to rain on Purim.
Nice shots! Feels great. Happy Purim

Those clouds look very dramatic, Dina!
ReplyDeleteGood! And it's a pretty sky too!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad for you! Here, the rain ans sea storms seem to be over and we're very happy for the sunshine/blue sky days with temperatures above 20ºC.
ReplyDeleteGreat! You must have been as happy as we were when the rain came after the heat in Australia. My greatest fear was the drought and the risk of getting bushfires.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment and visit. Yes she is now two years and 6 weeks old now.
You wrote to Sara that it almost always rains on Purim, but fortunately you and I had a lovely and sunny Purim two years ago! We went to Jerusalem then.
Beautiful sky shots, Dina, very dramatic clouds and a great light!
ReplyDeleteWe got two sunny days in a row, at last!
ReplyDeleteYou took some really good pictures there Dina. So glad you got some rain.
