Welcome rain, at last

.
 Clouds over Meitar

After last week's too-early dust storms and  unseasonably hot temperatures (over 30 C),
and after a winter of drought, we finally got a cool day of gentle, refreshing rain on Sunday!

Let's hope and pray for more.

  1. Hooray! I know the feeling, and those clouds are simply gorgeous, as well as full of rain. May more fall soon, upon both our locales, so far apart but with such similar climates.

  2. Hi Sara, we didn't get 3 straight days of rain like you did in California, but more is on the way.
This Friday kids wear their Purim costumes to school, and it always seems to rain on Purim.

  5. I'm so glad for you! Here, the rain ans sea storms seem to be over and we're very happy for the sunshine/blue sky days with temperatures above 20ºC.

  6. Great! You must have been as happy as we were when the rain came after the heat in Australia. My greatest fear was the drought and the risk of getting bushfires.
Thanks for your comment and visit. Yes she is now two years and 6 weeks old now.
You wrote to Sara that it almost always rains on Purim, but fortunately you and I had a lovely and sunny Purim two years ago! We went to Jerusalem then.
