After the holiday high, it will be nice getting back to the normal delicacies of day-to-day life, like this big beauty, half blown away.

  1. Easter Monday in Italian is 'Pasquetta' (Little Easter)a day usually reserved for a picnic in the countryside (scampagnata).

  3. I love these, even though I know it means more weeding to do on the lawn. Great capture!

I can only imagine the ruins that you must be able to see on a day-to-day basis where you live. My city is only a little over 100 years old, and there's nothing from before then for hundreds of miles around.

  5. What amazing beauty in a simple dandelion gone to seed! I have several of them in my back yard....I'm grateful for digital cameras that allow us to capture the fine and wonderful details our naked eyes cannot see quite this well....
