.
The moon rises over Hadassah Medical Center.
.
From our moshav across the valley we see the campus expanding year by year.
It is becoming like a little city on its own hill.
.
The tall hospital tower is not yet finished but it already dwarfs the once-high helipad on the left.
You too can watch it being built on Hadassah's live webcam.
But no work going on today.
Today is a holiday. Happy Sukkot!
I wonder if the webcam will pick up the big moon this evening . . . .
.

Skywatch Friday? That's an early post!
ReplyDeleteFull moon here also of course. Lovely to think that we can all see it from where we are...
The moon is always a source of inspiration! It inspired songwriters but also authors like Jules Verne, written at a time that a journey to the moon was unthinkable.
ReplyDeleteNice moonrise photo, Dina~! Fun to catch up on your blog this afternoon - I really liked your Psalm challenge a few days ago!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I also used to always walk the 1.5 miles to school every day..
Great! It look like a Photoshopped moon, but I know this is not the case...
ReplyDeleteVP, nope. I don't even have Photoshop. Too lazy to do more than point and shoot and post.
ReplyDeleteA beacon overhead. A terrific shot!

Freedom moon all bright and alight !
ReplyDeleteNice photos.
ReplyDeleteI did use the link to see the construction underway but it must be night there as it looked very dark and I guess the hospital had some lights on.
I always admire people who can get decent shots of the moon as you have--because I can't!
ReplyDeleteSKY-SEEKERS
The sky-seekers, some people say,
Do not favor night over day;
They always look up,
The sky is their cup,
And keeping it full is just play!
