It's snowing!! Yay!

.

With all this week's heavy rain in Israel everything is green and growing.
It is almost midnight now, but by morning all this will be WHITE!!

Yes, snow is starting to fall and to stick now, even in my village!
And up in Jerusalem for sure.
Photos for you tomorrow, God willing!
I can hardly wait for morning.

  1. It has been raining for the past 24 hours with more to come. We had a white Christmas with over 11 inches falling on Christmas day. It is very unusual for us to have that much snow. Many years we go all winter with no snow.

  4. I had no idea it snowed in Israel. Always thought of it as hot and dry.

  7. You've got snow in your village? Wow, I didn't think it would get down that far.

Nothing here in the Mercaz but miserable cold wet rain of course. At least we should have a bumper crop of flowers later.

  8. No kidding? I'll be looking forward to seeing photos of it. There hasn't been much now in Chicago. Poor KC. Her Uncle Jonny bought her snow shoes for the holidays!

  9. Lucky you! Glad you are having rain and snow, wish it would stop raining here... It seems to me it hasn't stopped raining since March 2012.

  10. I don't like cold or snow or sleet or hail. But Israel needs rain - lots and lots of rain. So the question is...does snow melt down to drinkable, usable water?

  12. I know that it isn't so unusual, but it so strange to imagine snow up there!
