Flowers on stone stairs

.

These might be the last of the flowers for a while.
Soon Israel will be in her  brown dry season.

February and March this year were the driest for the past 50 years.

  1. Don't you hate dry, brown summers when the gardens look dead? Even though water is always a problem, I still fantasise that somehow artesian water will well up to the surface and save the flora.

  5. Adullamite, the stairs are 13th century, built by the Crusaders.

  12. Beautiful! Flowers haven't bloomed in Chicago yet. We actually had a little bit of snowfall today. Winters are too long here and springs are too short.
