Like the composition of the 2nd one with the road drawing your eye into the shot. I love deserts - I'm strange that way - there's something clean about them. What's the cute animal?
Love the starkness of the landscape. My favourite pic, though, has to be the one with the ibex -- king of his mountain . Why is that goats always want to stand on the highest point?
From your photos, it surely looks like a great place to enjoy desert nature and have a bit of adventure.
SEVEN hours? That's a lot of walking and hiking for one day. It's a good exercise though. And I'm sure it's not as tiring as it sounds. I mean with all those fascinating displays the nature has to offer, seven hours would just feel like a moment.

Great photos. That really looks like a desert, very dry. The ibex is fascinating, we have bighorn sheep in our mountains and they will climb anywhere.
Amazing skies. Love the mountain goat.

I agree that the wilderness of Judea is beautiful. YYou have to have experienced it to understand it fully.
You hiked for SEVEN hours?!? Wow! I hope you brought a lot of water with you.
Awesome captures!
Have a great weekend.

I love the ibex in the sky, beautiful photos Dina! Looks like you had fun.
Beautiful. I especially like the sky over the desert.

Beautiful shots! I'm not used to seeing clouds over Ein Gedi, they're quite striking.
What fine pictures, Dina! The photo of the ibex is amazing! :-)
I missed Ein Gedi on a trip to Masada, too many things to see, thanks for these wonderful pictures.
Fantastic shots, the 2nd is my favorite.
Barren land, but that seven hour walk must have been a beautiful experience !
Thanks for taking us with you.
