Pony shadows at the Sea of Galilee

.
Tiberias has a nightly market place near the lake for tourists and locals, with all kinds of things to buy or eat.

Once we even saw pony rides!

The harsh projector-like lights above made strong shadows, good for Shadow Shot Sunday .

The string of ponies is a welcome change from my usual cat or bird for the Camera-Critters meme.

Two Arab boys were lucky to ride when their father (in the dark shirt) shelled out some shekels.

The shadows in the top shot are wonderful.

I'm trying to tell whether these are ponies or miniature horses. Really nice shadows.

Pony rides were a special treat for me; as a child I loved horses, but we lived in a city and could not keep one.
Thanks for the memory!

They are such pretty ponies, well groomed. They use to have them at carnival rides and the poor things have such a tough life.

Those pony shadows are lovely. It appears that two of the shadows are kissing! What a charming looking market!

This looks like such a fun place for kids. The lights give it a carnival look.

How lovely. They look like Shetland ponies but I wouldn't really know. I remember donkey rides as a kid.

Now those are some very cute shadows. The ponies look very well fed...which is a good sign.
