.
We talked before about the now-elegant old Scots Hotel in Tiberias here and here.. Their footbridge allows guests to cross above the busy street and go down to the hotel swimming pool.
.
If my kids were there at the Scots Hotel, each of us could stand over a blue light and say "Beam me up, Scotty!"
.Hope this makes Louis into la vache qui rit for his Sunday Bridges meme.
Join us, it's fun!

i love on be on the 2nd bridge. looks like the view from there is pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteBeam me up, indeed! Nice contribution to the bridge series, Dina!
ReplyDeleteVery cool bridge. I never realized the Scots Hotel had a pool. The one in Jerusalem is a bit spartan, to say the least (but lovely).

I love the view from the bridge too. And your "Beam me up, Scotty" just made my day. :)
ReplyDeleteI like that "beam me Scotty" ...:D Star Trek, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteIt's not every bridge you cross that offers a view of the Sea of Galilee. So special.
ReplyDeleteA good idea and a nice point of view, I guess...
ReplyDeleteYou've found more! The view on the sea is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteNice! The tiny glimpse of the water view piques my curiosity.
ReplyDeleteHeh... beam me up. That definitely made me chuckle! What a view indeed. Like a runway for an airplane to land... those pretty blue lights are very attractive. Thanks so much for coming by my blog when you do, I really do appreciate it, my friend.
ReplyDeleteHugs♥
Impressive! Thanks Dina for sharing your bridge and hotel!
ReplyDeleteI love this post because not only is the footbridge very pretty, but the way you write about going down to the Sea of Galilee so casually makes me giggle a bit. I was just reading about the place in the Bible at church yesterday ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love your views of places most of us only ever hear about.
ReplyDeletePretty cool crossing a bridge to go for a swim! :-)
ReplyDeletehee hee!
ReplyDeleteWell, Dina, «Louis» was going to write what Chuck has already written! So, he'll write it again because he appreciates your contribution to Sunday Bridges!
I can imagine you guys doing the beaming up skit...
