Transporter on the bridge

.
We talked before about the now-elegant old Scots Hotel in Tiberias here and here..
Their footbridge allows guests to cross above the busy street and go down to the hotel swimming pool.
The view from the bridge is to the Sea of Galilee. Beyond the lake, the Golan Heights.
.
I love the lighting in the floor of the wooden bridge.

If my kids were there at the Scots Hotel, each of us could stand over a blue light and say "Beam me up, Scotty!"
.
Hope this makes Louis into la vache qui rit for his Sunday Bridges meme.
Join us, it's fun!

  3. Very cool bridge. I never realized the Scots Hotel had a pool. The one in Jerusalem is a bit spartan, to say the least (but lovely).

  6. It's not every bridge you cross that offers a view of the Sea of Galilee. So special.

  10. Heh... beam me up. That definitely made me chuckle! What a view indeed. Like a runway for an airplane to land... those pretty blue lights are very attractive. Thanks so much for coming by my blog when you do, I really do appreciate it, my friend.

  12. I love this post because not only is the footbridge very pretty, but the way you write about going down to the Sea of Galilee so casually makes me giggle a bit. I was just reading about the place in the Bible at church yesterday ;-)
