My favorite picture from Jerusalem's huge outdoor market, Shuk Mahane Yehuda.

Well done. I like the idea of open air markets. I thought I was going to have something but can't seem to locate it. Will keep looking.

The baby is more precious than any sack of potatoes! S/he looks relaxed but very observant.

I"m not totally convinced that the babies are all that comfortable! I HOPE they are. Great capture Dina.

Adore this shot, Dina. The beautiful mother and baby, the stall holder with the cigarette hanging out of his mouth and those wonderful peaches.

Patient little tyke! I'm with V, though and not convinced the child is really happy in that position!

I think it is a delightful way to carry children ... well young children. They look like white peaches on the stall. I adore white peaches!!

I was just telling my wife that I was hoping you'll put a photo or 2 of Mahane Yehuda, and you did! Great place for people watching!

Liked the baby and mother. A slice of middle eastern life for all to see.

I'm loving this tour of the market places... and in yours we see not only plump peaches, but a sweet peach on his mother's back! :-)

That is a very interesting baby carrier! It doesn't look particularly comfortable for the child; I wonder if it is. Those peaches and avocados sure look tasty.

That baby looks awfully heavy to carry. I love the photo.
