First shy rain

.
Finally! Clouds on the horizon last night!
And at noon yesterday a whole minute of sprinkles, the first rain we've seen since last spring.

For the first time in a month, the day temperature dipped a few degrees below the 30s C.
.
For SkyWatch Friday, things are looking up.

Nope, nothing here yet. It is cooling off a tiny bit though - I shut my a/c off for an hour or two this evening :).

I'm glad you finally have the long-desired rain. Fortunately here the month of August, unlike July, has been very pleasant: warm weather, a delightful breeze, no humidity at all.

Sometimes, at night, we feel even a little cold now...

I loooove the first rain. It's a mix of humidity and the smell of sage. Intoxicating

Isn't it lovely how the sight of something so simple as a cluster of clouds can make one's heart sing?
