Finally! Clouds on the horizon last night!And at noon yesterday a whole minute of sprinkles, the first rain we've seen since last spring.
For the first time in a month, the day temperature dipped a few degrees below the 30s C.

Nope, nothing here yet. It is cooling off a tiny bit though - I shut my a/c off for an hour or two this evening :).

I'm glad you finally have the long-desired rain. Fortunately here the month of August, unlike July, has been very pleasant: warm weather, a delightful breeze, no humidity at all.
