.
There's a new dog in the neighborhood.
He is just a puppy but look at the size of his paw!
.
I think he's supposed to be a guard dog but he often comes out and follows me into the woods and then follows me back to my home again, even when I tell him firmly "Lech habayita! Go home!"
He just wants to play and loves to shake hands.
.
This puppy is for today's Camera-Critters Sunday.

Cute. He is a guard dog: he is guarding you from loneliness and boredom.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet, looks like you have found yourself a great friend..
ReplyDeleteGood puppy! Just wants to go for a walk, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI think he's going to be a big boy when he grows up!!
ReplyDeleteI just caught up on reading your Yom Kippur posts. It would be fascinating to be in a country where everything is shut down for atonement and reflection. I can't imagine the silence. And then to see Daniel blowing the shofar. What a talent. I did manage to get a sound out of mine but not with the force of Daniel.
ReplyDeleteGive that puppy lots of love. Stop by to see the rainbow rooster (Saturday) and I finally got inside the Greek Orthodox Church. Plain, but elegant!
Don't you just love puppies... and kittens, too!
ReplyDeleteI love that picture Dinah! Can you also show his face?
ReplyDeleteDina, that is one very polite dog. And he seems to want to protect you... how sweet.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have a new friend, Dina. Sounds like he's wanting to have you for a companion.
ReplyDeleteNo a great guard dog, but probably a much better kind of puppy!
ReplyDeleteOh I love doggy feet. He's sweet.
ReplyDeleteso funny
ReplyDeleteShalom friends. I was nicely surprised by your kind reactions. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry, I can't show his face or say his name. I try to protect the privacy of my neighbors, even if it is a dog neighbor.
Guard dogs are so often the friendliest of animals!
ReplyDeleteAW!
ReplyDelete;-D
Aw, Dina, such a precious photo.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute shot, Dina! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteHe is going to be a huge friendly giant! The bigger the dog's paw the bigger the adult dog. He must still be a cute little puppy.
ReplyDeleteAh, that's such a familiar gesture! My dog Maggi will give me her paw to hold quite often, and I'm sure it has multiple meanings for her.
ReplyDeleteGive me a big dog every time. Wonderfully creative shot :)
