Hand in hand

.

There's a new dog in the neighborhood.
He is just a puppy but look at the size of his paw!
.
I think he's supposed to be a guard dog but he often comes out and follows me into the woods and then follows me back to my home again, even when I tell him firmly "Lech habayita! Go home!"
He just wants to play and loves to shake hands.
.
This puppy is for today's Camera-Critters Sunday.

  1. Cute. He is a guard dog: he is guarding you from loneliness and boredom.

  5. I just caught up on reading your Yom Kippur posts. It would be fascinating to be in a country where everything is shut down for atonement and reflection. I can't imagine the silence. And then to see Daniel blowing the shofar. What a talent. I did manage to get a sound out of mine but not with the force of Daniel.

Give that puppy lots of love. Stop by to see the rainbow rooster (Saturday) and I finally got inside the Greek Orthodox Church. Plain, but elegant!

  10. No a great guard dog, but probably a much better kind of puppy!

  11. Shalom friends. I was nicely surprised by your kind reactions. :)

Sorry, I can't show his face or say his name. I try to protect the privacy of my neighbors, even if it is a dog neighbor.

  14. He is going to be a huge friendly giant! The bigger the dog's paw the bigger the adult dog. He must still be a cute little puppy.

  15. Ah, that's such a familiar gesture! My dog Maggi will give me her paw to hold quite often, and I'm sure it has multiple meanings for her.
