The Supreme Court Building in Jerusalem has some great passageways.
Ironically, the sign in this one says "Ein ma'avar," meaning NO PASSAGE.
.
Instead, tourist groups are guided through this passageway.
.
March 1 is our Theme Day at City Daily Photo Blog, now with 1,170 members and still growing.
There will be passageways from all over the world.

Very effective passageway shot, even though you can't go down there.
ReplyDeleteExcellent passageway shots.

Very beautiful. Perfect for 'passageway'. MB
ReplyDeleteExcellent shots, and I like the depth you present us in the first photo.
ReplyDeleteWonderful theme day photos of a place I've never seen before!
ReplyDeleteVery effective passageway shot with all those doors. It reminds me of the old television series "Get Smart" with Maxwell Smart walking down the corridor through all the doors which closed just after he passed them.
ReplyDeleteCheers.

Passageway without Passing? Interesting one.
ReplyDeleteThese passage ways are great!! Nice capture.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ann: really effective! Great entry.
ReplyDeleteNice! This building (I'm catching up today) has given you many interesting posts, and given me much interesting reading. Funny that the sign says "no passage."
ReplyDeleteIt gives a tremendous perspective, Dina. I like the light/shadow interplay. Terrific choice. Love the irony of the sign.
ReplyDeleteDina, that graphic quality pulled me right in from the thumbnail! I love that top shot, and the 2nd is very nice as well. Great take for our theme day!

ReplyDeleteGreat photo of a passage way. Enjoy your photos.
ReplyDeleteThe passageway meme worked nicely into the tour you've been giving us of this remarkable building.
ReplyDeleteI find the photos very illustrative for the Passageway-theme. Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteThese passages, corridors, whatever remind me of a cloister. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteAh, Dina, I was beginning to wonder if anybody would do an interior passageway like this. Very well chosen!
ReplyDeleteTo answer you question about photos onboard planes ... I'm not aware of any laws forbidding this ... however I have run into individuals with some small sense of power over their passengers who strongly suggest putting your camera away. And of course, I'm always compliant! Hah!
Very nice realisation of the theme!
ReplyDeleteI love your combination of square and rounded archways in your passageway photos for theme day!
ReplyDeleteGreat theme day photos!
I love shots like this! They seem to go on forever...
