Straight shadows enter a tunnel and turn into a graceful spiral for "Shadow Shot Sunday."
.
rifling: the spiral grooves cut into a tunnel, gun barrel, etc.
.
A photo from exactly one year ago of my grandson and half-hidden daughter playing at a Tel Aviv beach on the Mediterranean.
We have the same sun and warmth today, a real spring day.

Very cool shadows. I have a shot of Maya in that same tunnel :).
ReplyDeleteWell seen and well done!
ReplyDeleteA lovely shot :) Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteYes, I recognize this handsome young man from before! How sweet.
ReplyDeleteWe in North Carolina are so ready for spring this year and have romanticized it so, we've forgotten that not all about spring is good (floods, venomous snakes to name a couple)!
Come over to GDP and save us, we received one of our first "rants" on a photo that was meant to bring a little lightheartedness to "Sacred Sunday!" We need your sense of humor!

p.s. Haven't heard a peep from Father Adam of Monastery Daily Photo in over a month. Perhaps it is the new job........

A lovely shot to celebrate spring. Here the weather is not so good today.
ReplyDeleteI love the composition on this photo very much and I can see how it inspired the title you gave it.
ReplyDeleteI'll enjoy the sun in your tunnel vision, it looks a lot warmer than the sun in my world.
ReplyDeleteGrands must be the BEST!
ReplyDeleteExcellent geometrical shot, Dina!
ReplyDeleteVery fine image, I like its symmetry!
ReplyDeleteHere still winter :-)
I did not know the word "rifling"!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the find. And the picture.
