Holy Week, midweek

.
Holy Week in the Holy City, at the Holy Sepulchre.

Soon will come Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Great Saturday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday.

Meanwhile . . . it is Wednesday, and Christians wait.

  4. so true, we do wait
I'm looking forward to Holy Thursday when each of us have our feet washed and we each do the same for someone else. Towels are brought by the congregation to have our feet dried. Then the towels are collected and washed, then given to those in need. That takes the serving one more step beyond our church.
