Woohoo, I got to climb up a huge ladder and play in a HUGE truck!
What a fun day that was in Ramla!
Look at the size of that thing!
Standing under it is Dani, the man responsible for Kibbutz Gezer Olives.
On our day off, Dani took us volunteers and WWOOFers on a tour of the city of Ramla, including this new museum for old vehicles.
Ashlea, Dani, Dina, Luke -- what a team!
There are lots more posts about our olive harvesting adventures last autumn.
For June 1 theme day, City Daily Photos bloggers are posting on the subject ME.
It's a rare chance to see photos of the photographers themselves. Take a look!

ReplyDeleteThose are some serious big tires! Good take on the theme!
ReplyDeleteGreat theme day post.
ReplyDeleteOh I love 'seeing' you in action! What a fun experience and what a fun post, Dina!
ReplyDeleteOh Dina... I’m just loving your smile! It’s making me smile as I hold my arm. I’ll be taking another month long hiatus to give my arm time to heal before I return to blogging. Tif and family are coming in a couple of weeks too. It’ll be so wonderful to be together again.
ReplyDeleteWe middle aged chaps don't have enough fun in life, normally. Everything is so bloody serious.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I picked a lot of fruit in my kibbutz era. I think I ate more than I packed :)
Wow! Those vehicles make you and the others look very small in comparison.
ReplyDeleteYou look like you are really enjoying this experience Dina 😀 In the mines up north women here do drive those huge monsters!
ReplyDeleteThe big vehicle looks fun! I wonder if there are big blind spots as well when driving it?
ReplyDeleteWhat a pleasure to see you so happy in that first photo, Dina !
ReplyDeleteAs a former school bus driver and UPS driver, I would love to drive a big road construction like this. Looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteIt does look like you are having fun
ReplyDeleteMB
I would like to go for a drive in one of these : ) Dina
ReplyDeleteWow Dina, that must have been quite a climb to get up into that cab! Looks like lots of fun though.
ReplyDeleteDina, we've never met (so far... Will try to come to Israel this autumn), but this is so you, in my mind anyway!
ReplyDeleteYou have a contagious smile! It made me smile. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat truck is ginormous! What on Earth does it move??
ReplyDelete"Dani, the man responsible for Kibbutz Gezer Olives"
I like this. What a great title!
