My son is a professional photographer in Los Angeles.
Tel Aviv's MANY cats caught his interest when he came for a short visit to Israel in February.
We walked the little lanes of the older neighborhoods on a quiet Sabbath afternoon.
Schlaf-stunde, Shabbat nap-time for cats too.

Cats love living in the streets
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for a cat. We have two, plus a 'house guest' kitty for two weeks. I like it. For our two, it takes some getting used to having another on the grounds.
ReplyDeletegood for him
ReplyDeleteI too am taken with the 'street cats' no matter where I travel. In a perfect world, I'd collect them all and take them home with me. We had two that quickly became four, adopt us in Greece. I worry about them more than I have about the house and garden while we are on the other side of the world!
ReplyDeleteAs far as I'm concerned, cats are the ultimate form of life on the planet and should be treated with the highest of respect befitting them. Beautiful captures!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, I love cats and have 3 now. My post today was also about my cats.
ReplyDeleteCool. He must have a wonderful album of cats now!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing this! I hope you had a good visit.
ReplyDeleteWould be nice to see his shots :)
ReplyDeleteI know how interesting it is. :)
ReplyDeleteIn Greece too we found plenty in the streets.
Lovely photos of the cats.

When i grow up i want to be a photografer,
ReplyDeleteI am glad to have an interest in common with a professional photographer! My next cat will be posted on Tuesday...
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to see him in action!
ReplyDeleteNice models you found:)
ReplyDeleteHe must have a way with cats; I notice they are not bolting away when he points that scary big lens at them! Or maybe they did after you snapped the photo ;-)
ReplyDeleteNice cat photos. Your son must seem trustworthy to them because they don't seem afraid of him. I'm up to 9 cats and 2 kittens now in my yard.
ReplyDeleteDear friends, yes, you are all right, cats are wonderful and worthy of our attention. And yes, my son, Edo, inspires trust and has a way with both cats and people.
