An unusual reflection for Weekend Reflection group.
There was lots of good home-made food last night.
Today (beginning last night) is also the fun Jewish holiday Tu B'Av (explained in my earlier posts).
And in just a few hours Sabbath Eve will begin.
Shabbat shalom, may you and also this troubled country have some Sabbath peace.
.
I'd like to help myself to a bit of that 'twelve' myself and a piece of Peace.
ReplyDeleteSo it means it was ger birthday. Have a nice weekend.. Hugs from sunny Europe
ReplyDeleteI bet it was a nice time! I might not have found a reflection because I probably would have been too busy eating. :-)
ReplyDeleteQuite a cake!

ReplyDeleteHi everybody, thanks for your fun comments.
ReplyDeleteGosia, yes, it was her 12th birthday but the bat mitzvah is also a "coming of age" or "rite of passage" into Jewish adulthood. For boys, they become bar mitzvah at age 13. See more about it at

James, I only took time for one little slice of spinach quiche and then got busy photographing.
William, actually it is just a wooden frame filled with candy, not a cake.
Jackie, yes, Weekend Reflections is a fun group. James has taught me always to be on the lookout for reflections. Join us.
Shabbat Shalom Dina looking at the photos made me hungrey : )
