Pictures of life in Jerusalem and the Jerusalem Hills. And since August 2013 also a look at the northern Negev, my new home.
Such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteCat on a warm wood bench...
ReplyDeleteA Siamese cat who "speaks" German//Austrian! Cats do know how to find the warmest places and soak up sunshine wherever they can. I guess that's the same the world over. I'm glad you are getting some sunshine too.
ReplyDeleteA sweet picture!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how long you will be in Austria, but it looks like you are having fun. I thought of you yesterday (Saturday) when I posted a picture of a building I'm betting was the kitchen to the mansion of a prominent Jewish family in Greensboro. I hope to find out for sure.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Dina.

Do they burn just wood? Dina
ReplyDeleteAlice, yes, the community heats the houses and gets hot water solely from wood that they bring in from the forest.
ReplyDeleteJanis, I get to stay here one month, until mid November. Wish it were longer.
Your post and link are really interesting.
Every time I see a bench.... I think of VP in Livorno.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the cat has found the perfect place.
Happy new week to you.
Gunn, you too, haha? Every time I see a nice bench I take a photo with VP in mind. :)
ReplyDeleteA lot of wood, winter can come...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful posting!
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful images.
(I can understand this thing with preparations before the snow arrives, and you from the desert....
I arrived in Tel Aviv in February. Leaving snow... and then the first morning in Jaffa, sunshine, blue sky and warmer than a nice summer day here up in the north.... )
