Impressive, I know Israel only with a very blue sky.

Great sky picture! When I visited Israel, back in -97, all I ever saw was a clear sky. Good to see you have clouds too...
Christian and Englepappa, you must have been here in the summer, when skies are blue every day. From about October to April is the rainy season (well, some rain and some sun).
