The place just right

.

My little village on the hill, beneath a big sky.
As seen from the valley below, where I often go walking toward evening, meeting only jackals on the way.

For SkyWatch Friday.

    Jackals sounds scary.

  2. Joco, shalom. Your land and sky in your photos are so expansive! No wonder it expands the soul.
    We have many many jackals and they do no harm to humans. I love to see them.
    Click on my label "jackals" to see and hear them.

  3. Really? There are jackals where you live? I'm impressed!

    SKY SONG

    Glowing moon and shining stars,
    Venus, Jupiter and Mars,
    Planets swirling round the sun;
    Darkness falls when day is done.

    In the vast and endless sky
    Eagle, wren and falcon fly;
    Over hill and dale they roam,
    Calling cloud and thunder home.

  4. Beautiful skies and pathway. It looks so peaceful there though perhaps is not so peaceful in Israel. It does look like a wonderful place to walk.

  10. What a beautiful day you've got. Art would have loved that for his solar panels. We had nothing but clouds today. I liked the cooler weather though.
