A pretend gate

.
A little paint does wonders.

For Monday Doorways hosted by Louis la Vache.
.
UPDATE: This was one of several doors painted during a street festival on Shushan Street.
See another example, with the artist at work, in an earlier post.

  3. This kind of art is so pleasing! There are one or two buildings here in town with similar works changing their unattractive facades into something quite fantastic.

  6. Very sweet. People have such birds on their houses here. Maybe not so many white, but blue.

  7. Was this painted by the building's owner, or is this what might be called sacred grafitti? If it's the latter, perhaps it's the same person who painted the Madonna surfing in san diego last month.

  9. That is just so cool. I'd love to have seen that. I've heard of people painting windows and doors on buildings, but I've never seen a gate.
