Bridge to a magic lamp

.
At least four such bridges span the two sides of Mamilla Mall.

This sculpture at the mall is "Aladdin and the Three Wishes" by Ossi Yalon.
His stepping over onto the magic lamp seems bridge-like.
.
And it's all for Sunday Bridges, headquartered in San Francisco.

  1. That looks like an elegant mall with a useful foot bridge. And what is that magic lamp about? Did you make a wish and did it come true, Dina?

  2. Hi Dina! Beautiful Aladin...

Blogtrotter Two is waiting for you to answer the legendary question: «What is the creature that walks on four legs in the morning, two legs at noon and three in the evening?» :)
Enjoy and have a great Sunday!

  3. The bridge could be an interesting vantage point to take some pictures of the place. I like the sculpture, the pose is very realistic and funny.

  7. Shalom friends, thanks for your observations.

    Question answers:
Francisca and Leif, no, I don't make wishes anymore. And I still haven't read the Aladdin books.

Trotter, that is one of the few riddles that I actually know the answer to. I'll be over.

Spacedlaw, that's the only photo I got of Aladdin. Sorry.

Lesley, I suppose mild climate is more conducive to pedestrian mall- building.

Birdman, good eyes. Yes, for some reason, a bride and groom were walking there. A closer picture of them at

  9. What a nice mall! I don't know if I could afford to shop there - it appears to be quite elegant - but I know my camera would love to visit it.

The lamp is wonderful! And I like the idea that Ossi Yalon is crossing a bridge to get to it.

  12. Thanks y'all!

Petrea, when Louis la Vache started the meme I thought that Jerusalem, having no body of water, had no bridges. The meme made me start looking for them. Such fun.
